With an architectural background and a twenty-year history of helping clients preserve and develop their historic resources, Spencer Preservation can provide an unmatched suite of services to add value to your preservation project. 

Primarily focused on rehabilitation tax credit projects of all sizes including National Register nominations, Spencer Preservation also has worked extensively on military rehabilitation projects at Fort Leavenworth and Fort Riley Kansas and assisted communities with preservation-based downtown revitalization.

Over the past 20 years, Spencer has assisted in more than one hundred and fifty historic rehabilitation projects in Kansas and surrounding states

Clients have included private property owners, developers, local municipalities, state government, federal entities, architects, and other preservation consultants.  Spencer Preservation typically works as a private contractor, at times in partnership with design or development teams, or other consultants.

Over the past 20 years, Spencer has assisted in more than one hundred and fifty historic rehabilitation projects in Kansas and surrounding states, listed over sixty buildings and districts on state and/or national historic registers, and worked with over twenty communities to enhance their historic business districts and neighborhoods.

Spencer meets the Secretary of the Interior's Professional Qualification Standards  for Architecture, Architectural History and Historic Preservation as outlined in 36 CFR 61 of the National Historic Preservation Act.
